Yoella Sharon
Graduate of Tel Aviv University in English Literature and Philosophy.
My work consists of wheel thrown and hand built objects, both functional and sculptured.
I strive to preserve the natural textures of the various clays – from coarse, heavily groged black to creamy white. My forms are simple , sometimes expressing flowing movement juxtaposed to the hardened clay. I often use clear glaze to allow for a functional pot – all electric kiln fired at 1200 c
My work can be found in private collections in Israel and abroad,
I live and work in Tel Aviv.
